From the field to the mentor's seat
I am a 3-star recruit (Inside Lacrosse) committed to Bryant University to play lacrosse. As a true freshman and sophomore at my hometown high school, I had 155 caused turnovers, 165 ground balls, and 17 points. I came to Holderness and repeated my sophomore year and started. In my second season at Holderness as a junior, I am now the number one cover defender for our team.
Why they mentor
“Growing up in a small town in northern Vermont, lacrosse is not a popular sport. Because of this, the road to success is very challenging and different from most other kids coming from other places where athletics is a priority. I’ve faced numerous challenges, such as overcoming stereotypes, self-comparisons to others, and simply holding onto my love for the game and wanting to develop as a player. My goal in becoming a mentor is to learn from the other mentors in the program and help others who may be facing similar hardships in any way possible.”
