From the field to the mentor's seat
Sports have always been a passion of mine and an outlet for my competitive fire. I fell in love with soccer from the beginning but I played other sports such as lacrosse and basketball all throughout my childhood. My high school and club soccer teams have achieved the highest success but not without some ups and downs. I am fortunate enough to have coaches and teammates around me to support and push me.
Why they mentor
“I want to become a mentor because the leadership that I have looked up to has shaped who I am as a player and leader. Mentors can make a significant difference in an athletes development and I am looking to be apart of that difference. Having strong mental health and impactful mentors is just as important as developing on the field skills. I am passionate about positively influencing younger players and helping them to develop both on and off the field.”
